Hey gang- I did some digging on the Sacramento Kings situation. In their last game against the Pistons, Chimezie Metu drew the start, his second in a row at PF in place of Mo Harkless. This has been mostly lost I think in a sea of Marvin Bagley drama. He played for the first time in a month, and a week after apparently refusing to enter a game. The big rumor is that the Detroit Pistons, in an effort to field a a whole team full of undersized centers who can't shoot threes, were interested in acquiring the out of favor Bagley III. But in speaking to reporters ahead of tonights game Walton says the new influx of size, including Bagley, is in an effort to improve rebounding figures, which isn't necessarily bologna as the Kings rank 26th in Opp OReb Rate at almost 12 a game.
We have an update on Jimmy and Bam! Jimmy will play tonight, Bam will not. Additionally, Kyle Lowry is out, and Dwayne Dedmon, Bam's backup, is playing.
